Geum 'Koi'
Geum 'Koi'
One of my favourite early-season perennials. It blooms early, flowers for weeks, and the beautiful orange blooms return with deadheading.
The foliage lasts much longer than the early blooms, so I plant it where I can enjoy the colour, then let surrounding plants take the stage while the foliage protects the soil.
Gone by year 4. Plan the succession.
