Japanese Grass 'Gold'

Hakonechloa macra 'Gold'

This rare shade-tolerant grass gives me a soft, flowing texture that contrasts beautifully with ferns.

Shade gardens are foliage-forward, and this one adds colour and texture that stand out.

Going strong at five years.
