Maltese Cross
Lychnis chalcedonica
The red-orange blooms and unusual star-shaped flowers bring novelty and colour that are rare in a seed-grown species.
It stands out in the sun and blends beautifully with mid-height summer blues.
Gone by year 4. Plan the succession.
